Amy creates wonderful mixed media originals using encaustic waxes and altered ephemera.

 

This one-of-a-kind piece measures 10"x10" and is crafted on a braced pine panel. A vintage little girl and birdie silhouette is transfered to layers of encaustic wax which is then overlaid onto a girlie-pink backdrop. Edges of the piece are finished with a plaid ribbon in melon hues with a bow tied at the top (see close-up view). A charming addition to the nursery or play room!
