I have been longing for a baby since my husband and I were first married, but knew that we had a “responsible” plan in place for when would be good to “start trying”. But every now and then my mommy-longing would get the best of me, and I would start looking online at what things would be nice to have when the time was right. My husband and I both like old things. We’ve always felt at home around vintage and antique pieces. I love to wear vintage clothes and pin-curl my hair and he’s a bow tie guy. I found your website when searching for vintage and baby and I immediately fell in love. On those days when my heart was aching for a baby, I’d browse the beautiful embroidery, the quilts… all of your lovely gifts that looked just the way I imagined baby things should. Once, I even treated myself to buying a changing pad with white Scottie dogs all over it (which looked too much like our own Westie to pass up). When I called to place the order, the customer service was great. It was nice to talk to a real person and when I received it, the order came wrapped up so cute… it was a great way to tide me over until “our time” arrived. And now, I’m happy to say that our time is here!! We’re 12 weeks pregnant and so excited! If we win, we’d be grateful for Package Number 1 because we don’t know the sex yet AND because I started painting the nursery (gender neutral) before becoming pregnant and hand painted a large tree and blue sky and grass. The jumper with the bluebirds and nest matches our nursery theme perfectly and the little ducky cloth looks so cuddly even over the computer. And Hooray! You celebrate birthdays as long as we do. You can never have enough cake! Congratulations on your 2nd birthday… the two’s aren’t terrible at all… they’re terrific!

I discovered the Baby Gardner in a magazine as I was waiting in the Pediatrician’s office. I saw some of their perfectly precious items and immediately made a mental note of the website. I was even more delighted when I got to browse through the site. I must say that I feel the Baby Gardner has captured my personal style so well – so of course I was hooked! I’ve bought the monogrammed hair clips for some of my friend’s babies and it’s always a hit. We have a wonderful little boy and another baby on the way (we’re not sure of the sex yet) so we’d love either adorable package. Happy birthday Baby Gardner! I hope you love your toddler years as much as we have! Thanks for your beautifully unique and original work!

Congrats on your second year! Time goes by soooooo FAST but I know keeping up a blog and a website can make it feel like it goes so slow! But you all do a wonderful job. Everytime I’m on your website it makes me smile! The first time I actually came across your website was because I was redoing my sons nursery and I typed in “Vintage baby decor”. There wasn’t anything out there that really caught my eye and then I found you guys. The graphics are great and I love how you have a very unique style with using artists that have different talents supply some of your items. I also love your blog and how its very personal…I love anything and everything that has to do with vintage baby decor and I love how you in detail share ideas, thoughts and fun things!!! It might be only your second year but you definitely have a customer for a lifetime! Keep up the good work!
I would love to win the girly and pink package!!!

Hurray…to make it a second year in this economy says a lot! The first time I found your site was before I was pregnant. I have severe endometriosis and was told I would be unable to get pregnant. I knew otherwise! I would spend hours at night finding sites and bookmarking them so that when I got pregnant I could get all sorts of beautiful things. I came across your site one night and had a fit! I loved the “bebe” rattles and the “my first christmas tree”…I couldnt wait. Well, a few months later I got a miracle. After seven years and eight surgeries….I was pregnant. As soon as I found out it was a girl… I came back to your site. I got her the christmas tree in a pot with the angel because she is my angel. I also got her the bebe rattle and its in her room right now. I also got her the little girl hanger which hung on her wreath at the hospital. I was so proud and excited. I loved the vintage feel to mix with the new. It makes it so special. Lily B, my daughter, loves her rattle. She is now three months old. I also got her some booties which look great with her day gowns. I am so glad you guys are around for that “something unique”!!! I check all the time now and am always looking for new little things for my miracle. I wish you a wonderful 2nd year and look forward to seeing what you have out for christmas! I would love to win the second prize..the pink one…for my little miracle…Lily B!

The first time I discovered the baby gardner site it was truly love at first site! I love, love, LOVE all things vintage baby. They just don’t make things like they used to…till they did! All over at your lovely shop! I made 2 purchases that week I was so thrilled! Every little detail you put into the design of your site and the products you carry reflect your great taste and eye for adorable, quality baby products. I could not even throw away the invoice because your shop logo is so cute! Thank you for filling in a gap that much needed fulfillment in the baby industry! No mass produced, character/cartoon baby items for us! We own several products…from 2 pairs of elephant booties, the blue bird booties, the bluebird blankie, stationary, photo frame…even the proud papa pins we passed out 3 weeks ago for the birth of our son! I love the baby gardner! Happy 2 Birthday!

Who new there was someone out there that actually made baby cloche hats??! It is so adorable. Just the cutest thing ever. Vintage is definantly my thing. I think i was born during the wrong era. I have a WWII style but was born in the early 80′s. (Package number 1)

My friend refers to me as the shopasaurus rex ~ that should give you some idea of how much I love to shop for my boys. I came across an ad for your site in a magazine while waiting for a sonogram of baby boy #2. He was not even born yet and I had to have the snips and snails crib shoes. They are so sweet, and delicate just like Bryce. He wore them on his Baptism day and he was the talk of the church. After all ladies we do know it is all about the shoes!!!!!
Thanks so much for helping to make our babies look like babies. They grow up fast enough! I would love package 1.

Gracefully fell into your delightful shoppe about a year ago while searching out vintage embroidary patterns. My mom had recently passed away & was in the middle of making a baby quilt for my daughter. However, her patterns was somehow destroyed…so looking for a replacement & found you! Love it here as it feels like home. We’ve enjoyed a few of your charming items & peek in from time to time to check out your new things as well as get great ideas for our youngster’s vintage room.
So, happy happy happy happy Birthday to you! Wishing you much success in this upcoming year!
PS – while we’d be delighted with either package, #1 would fit us best. Thanks!

I am planning a baby shower for a girlfriend of mine and both of us absolutely love vintage. She sent me this site and I absolutely fell in love! I have found the perfect baby and children’s site and plan to order the adorable baby boy banner for her shower. I only wish this site had been around when my shower was planned because this site could be no more sweet and perfectly “vintage.”
I would love to have the package #1 for my girlfriend’s baby shower, she is expecting her first baby, a boy!
Happy 2nd birthday to you,
Dawn

Today is when I discovered your oh so delightful blog. I was searching for places on how to make vintage baby clothes and stumbled happily here! We are expecting are 7th little blessing in February and I want to make my own special little clothes for this baby. I love everything old and thought what better way to celebrate my passion for the past than to dress my new baby in heirloom styles. Your blog has the most adorable vintage drawings on it and I can’t wait to explore the whole thing. Since it won’t be for another 2 weeks till we find out the gender, I’m liking package #1, though package #2 is adorable! Thank you for entering me, now I’m off to explore your blog!

i was helping my mom search for vintage style baby shower invitations for my upcoming shower and came across your site. i was so excited to find invitations that were exactly what i was looking for along with tons of other adorable, hard-to-find items that i added to my “wish list”. the invitations are adorable and they feature a picture of twin boys…exactly what we’re expecting by new years! we’ve ordered our invitations (“bottle twins”) and were incredibly pleased with your flexibility and quick delivery. my family has been shopping off of my wish list of unique items from your site and our vintage-inspired nursery has come together beautifully with the help of all of the ideas and photos on your blog and site. if i win, i’d love party giveaway #1 for my boys to share

the first time I discovered the baby gardner was when my sweet friend surprised me with the High Chair Baby shower invitation. She knows how much I LOVE vintage things and knew we were doing the nursery in a vintage theme. She didn’t show me the invitations beforehand she just told me I was going to die when I saw them. She was right. I went to the mailbox and opened the invitation and couldn’t catch my breath because it was the cutest thing I had ever seen. Then at the shower she had topped off a diaper cake with that ADORABLE soft baby rattle. After I saw the invitations and the rattle I knew I had to check out the website for myself. Now I am a baby gardner addict!!!!!! I LOVE EVERYTHING on the site. Too too cute!!!!!!!! If I am a lucky winner I choose giveaway 2 for “my vintage baby girl.”
Happy 2nd Birthday!!!

I discovered The Baby Gardener through the blog, My Sweet Savannah. I thought the postings were well thought out and not too complicated. I don’t have kids and am not preparing a baby room, but I still enjoy your blog and items. Since many of my friends have kids or are prego, the site has helped me plan a few showers, think of ways to help friends out, and think of cute ways to decorate or plan for my time someday!
Would love package #1! Thank you and congrats on the 2nd Anniversary!

I was looking for unique baby shower invitations and decorations for my best friend’s baby shower. I absolutely fell in love with your bunny slippers design. It reminded me of my own baby girl and I just loved the vintage charm of the design. I could just eat the baby up right off the page, she is so cute! I just purchased 50 invites and favor bags with the same design. I just love your stuff. Keep up the good work!

My daughter starts pre-school this next week and I have been eyeing some of the cute things in your shop….such temptation! Thank you for having such beautiful items!
